I like the sound of the comments with regards to the "Malaking Tindahan". I agree, we cannot rely on our Titos and Titas, ever since they have their own agendas. Honestly, I feel bad that the things that we grew used to are starting to rot away. Yes, the house is now some sort of "talyer".
I will join you guys, those who pledged support for the plan to renovate the house. Tatlo na tayo, sana madagdagan pa. The house is in under the MONTENEGRO Properties and not under one person. Every MONTENEGRO has the right to the house. It will be kept that way.
Siguro we can have the floors, ceilings and rooms of the 2nd floor fixed. Then depending on the availability of funds, we can move on to the lower floors. Believe me, nakaka-awa talagang tingnan. And let's all (cousins) make a pact to keep the house intact for the future generations.
I am open to suggestions on how we go about this plan. Sana hindi maudlot. And 'Liv with regards to the "L" shaped chair? Well.....

Yun na nga sabi ni Mommy, family (Montenegro) property daw yun.
Yung Torre ang dapat maunang maayos kasi nga yung water/drain spout eh rotten na. Yung kisame ng mga floors eh, useless na din. It would be a BIG renovation kasi nga TOTAL . Cguro 1 whole year ang commitment for the renovation. We need:
1. Assessment of the house and PLAN
2. Project Manager
3. Financial Manager
at ang pinakamahalaga eh yung trusted
4. FOREMAN onsite :)
Hmm... kung ipapaayos rin naman, di ba dapat yong baba muna? kasi kung yong taas muna (yong torre in this case), e baka ang kalabasan e rotten naman ang foundation, diba mapupunta lang sa wala yong pagpapaayos ng torre?
di naman ako Civil Engineer eh, kaya Torre yung una para di maulananan yung mga nasa baba? hehehe parang itlog o manok lang yan HAHAHA :)
In my assessment (non-professional of course), the house has a very good foundation. walang masyadong problema sa baba, it's more or aesthetic repair. And problema is the 2nd and ceiling, kasama na ang torre.
With regards to the people and plans, medyo dun tayo magkakaproblema. Lalo na yung number 4.
The fact is, madami nga ako ding gustong gawin, pati sa house namin pero hindi ko pa magawa kasi still have to finish something here in Manila. Unless may maiibibigay na suggestion yung iba sa atin.
Hi, Guys! We just want to suggest about the work to be done jan sa malaking bahay.
First of, kailangan malagyan ng chemical seal yung mga cracks dun sa torre. May kamahalan nga lang yang chemical na yan pero malaki ang matutulong sa pag-ayos ng bahay. Pagkatapos nyan, ay saka lang natin pwedeng ipa-waterproof ulit yung torre. Pati yung mga bubong dapat din maayos.
Pag ok na yung torre, sa ground floor naman tayo dapat mag-concentrate. We need to reinforce yung mga columns at foundation nya kasi puro basag at cracks na.
Pag nagawa na natin ang mga ito, ay saka lang natin pwede galawin ang interior ng bahay.
Medyo malaking gastos lang talaga ito pero pag pinagtulungan nating lahat ay maaayos din.
Kung sa mga plans at design lang, kami na ang bahala ni Jun. Basta kung mabibigyan nyo lang kami ng existing plans pati mga pictures ng interior at mga problems on site, pwede na mare-design yon.
