Torres Family in Bahrain

Hello Guys! Sorry it took us awhile before we could post something here. Anyway, here are some of our pix during the last Eid Al Fitr, the end of the Holy Month of Ramadan. During this time lang kami nakakapamasyal ng buong araw dahil sa haba ng holidays.

First, we went to their Bahrain National Museum. You can see a dhow at the back. It's what they call their fishing vessel.

Then we went to their famous Tree of Life. (Sabi nila 5k years old na daw ito.)

This naman yung link to Saudi Arabia, King Fahd Causeway ang tawag. Saudi kasi ang gumastos kaya sa kanya nakapangalan. Ganda ng dagat dito....


Next time na lang ulit.....See yah!

For Gabriel, it was the best day ever!

We brought cupcakes and balloons to school (a surprise visit) and stayed for snacks.


Then, we went to Chuck E. Cheese's (very much like Timezone) where he and his close friends enjoyed hours of fun.

Packing Maria :) Ang Lutong!

Eto na po ang pix ni Maria, nung sya'y isa lamang na "packer" sa New World Supermarket. Si Tito Ricky ay d2 din nagwo-work ngunit sa ibang branch.

Abangan nyo ulit ang pagiging office girl ni Maria. Ngayong araw sya nag-start ng work sa Telecom as accounting assistant. Just few more months, makakapiling nya na ulit sina Tom.

P.S.
Tom, cguraduhin mong gumawa ka ng account sa Skype or MSN. Kasi na-iiyak talaga si Maria kapag boses lang ng mga bata. :) Cyah!

The Montenegro Christmas Party 2007

Organizing the 2007 Christmas Party is ongoing, what we need at the moment is the place to hold it. Places that we are considering are: 1) the clubhouse where meluz and family is living 2.) the game court (aircon part) where we had it last year 3.) and the clubhouse kina kuya ngol.

KUYA NGOL: how much ang rent sa clubhouse nyo?

Contributions: I think we can still stick with the P500/family (just like last year) then pot-luck na lang for the food. Last year the food was enough for everybody.

November 03, 2007 Manila Memorial Visit

Today we went to Manila Memorial Park in Sucat to visit the grave of Lola Benguin & Tito Freddie. I was not able to locate the grave of Tito Freddie but was able to offer a prayer for the eternal repose of his soul and of Daddy and all our loved ones at the grave of Lola Benguin.

Our visit was fine and the kids enjoyed the serenity of the park. There were still a number of people visiting their loved ones grave but not that many when you go during November 01 & 02. Perhaps because of the long vacation caused by the recent election last Oct 29, 2007 a lot of people have decided to visit their dead earlier or almost at the same time.
